Campus Activities Board Sends Stuff-a-Plush Animals to Students

Elephants, monkeys, giraffes and unicorns with doey eyes were offered to Westminster students in this time of uncertainty. Originally purchased for the Campus Activities Board (CAB) “Tattoosday” event that was expected to be held on March 31, the stuffed animals were instead shipped to students’ homes.

Students interested in receiving an animal were asked to email Margie Lechner with their animal preference and home address.
“In our weekly CAB zoom meetings we were discussing ways to stay in contact with students to let them know we were thinking of them, so we decided to offer the stuff-a-plush for home delivery” explains Lechner.

Stuff-a-Plush packages were shipped at no cost to the students. Packages include an empty stuffed animal, a “Tattoosday” t-shirt and a bag full of stuffing.

Westminster students have responded to the stuff-a-plush positively. Many have reached out to Lechner requesting their desired animal package. “The response has been amazing! My office feels like a Toys-R-Us with stuffed animals everywhere!” Lechner says happily.

Students that are interested in acquiring a stuffed animal from CAB still have time. There is a limited supply in animals with the exception of elephants. Elephants were the first stuffed animal to go, and they went quickly. Students may still select from a monkey, giraffe and unicorn.
