10 Things to do at Westminster in the Fall

There are all kinds of fun things to do at Westminster in the fall! We know it can be hard to choose from them all, so here is a list of our top 10.

1. Disc Golf

The students of Westminster have created their own 18-hole disc golf course around campus, but in order to learn about it, you’ll have to ask around. The course has only been passed down by word of mouth since it was created many years ago.

2. Touch Football

Touch football can be a great way to pass time in the afternoon. Grab a few friends, divide up teams, and get playing.

3.Watch a Soccer Game

Westminster’s soccer teams are always battling to be the best in the fall. Go support the Blue Jays and cheer them on to victory!

Fulton is home to the Tanglewood Golf Course. Both challenging and beautiful, a day at the course is sure to be a fun experience.

5. Attend a CAB Event

Westminster’s Campus Activities Board is always putting on fun new events for the student body to participate in. Be sure to follow their page on Facebook so you can know when the next one is happening!

6. Run or Walk the Trail

Going for a walk or run along the beautiful Stinson Creek Trial that passes through campus is a great way to get some exercise while also enjoying the outdoors and nature.

7. Host a Bonfire

Hosting a bonfire (after getting the college’s approval) is a fun way to get friends together on a late fall evening. Doing one through a campus club or organization makes the approval process easier and also serves as a good way to increase campus awareness of your club.

8. Attend a Greek Event

Going to a campus-wide Greek event is a great way to meet new people and support the campus fraternities and sororities. Many of the Greek organizations host philanthropic events throughout the year such as cupcake sales, pancake houses, and blood drives.
