Plan to Attend Westminster’s Second Annual Gatorade Game This Saturday

By Kirsten Carney, Sports Information Director

Westminster football will hold its second annual Gatorade Game this Saturday at the team’s home opener against Millsaps. The game is set for 1 p.m. at Blue Jay Stadium.

Head Coach John Welty asks that fans bring a Gatorade, Powerade or any other sports drink as admission to the game. Last season for the inaugural Gatorade game, Westminster football gathered more than 700 drinks from fans, which lasted the entire season for the team.

Those without a Gatorade will still be granted admission.

Along with the football home opener, women’s soccer competes Friday at home against Hendrix. Men’s and women’s soccer will compete in a double-header Sunday at home against Nebraska Wesleyan. Come support the Blue Jays!
