As a result, relationship building has become an award-winning skill for the Senior Program Specialist with Cerner Corporation in Kansas City, MO: Harrison received an Annual Partner Achievement Award from the Healthcare Division of Nuance Communications in May.

The Russellville, MO, native manages the sales and business development of voice recognition solutions for Cerner, a healthcare information technology organization that currently partners with Nuance.

A Business Administration major with a dual emphasis in Finance and Management, Harrison grew up on a small farm. He maintains that going to a college with an intimate atmosphere made the most sense to him and ultimately had a huge impact on his career.

“Westminster provided me with not only the right tools but also an environment that set me up for future success, both personally and professionally,” he asserts.

When asked about his favorite college memories, Harrison emphasizes his affection for his fraternity. “I’d be lying if I didn’t say the Kappa Alpha house was my favorite place on campus,” he says enthusiastically. “It was home while at Westminster and where some of my fondest memories were made.”

Today, when Harrison isn’t handling complex communications while building bridges between corporations, he can be found on the golf course or firing up the grill with friends.
