Alumni Wes Gregory and Ken Murer Give With a Purpose
Westminster benefits in countless ways from its selfless alumni who have consistently provided the College with support throughout the years. Our alumni network watches out for one another, providing internships for students, job opportunities for fellow alumni, support with various programs on campus and financial contributions.
To highlight those who give back to the College financially, Westminster Today is launching a new monthly column titled “Giving With a Purpose.” The column will feature the many reasons our generous alumni choose to give back to the College that gave to them first.
This month, we feature alumni Wes Gregory, ’93 ΚΑ, and Ken Murer, ’87 ΣΧ.
Wes Gregory, ’93 KA, Chesterfield, MO
“I give to Westminster because it is important to me that others be able to have the same college experience that I did. I am grateful for the small classes that allowed me to build great relationships with my fellow students and for my professors who taught me how to think critically and for myself. At Westminster, I learned the benefits of asking questions and not being afraid to challenge the status quo — and, importantly, to always be respectful of others who may have a different point of view. In short, I give to Westminster because those four years in Fulton were foundational in shaping the person that I am today, and I hope to pay it forward to those students who come after me.”
Ken Murer, ’87 ΣΧ, Wildwood, MO
Thank you Wes and Ken for all you do for Westminster!
