Beth Stubbs, ’00, To Receive Remley Award During Alumni Weekend
Westminster alumni, friends, and current College community are invited to a celebration of Westminster women at 12:30 p.m. (luncheon) on Saturday, April 26 during Alumni Weekend. The special luncheon will feature the presentation of the Remley Award to this year’s honoree – Beth Stubbs, ’00. (Above, Westminster Vice President for Institutional Advancement Bill Sheehan, Beth Stubbs, and Professor Mary Majerus at the Freshmen Send-off event in mid-Missouri, August 2013, sponsored by Stubbs.)
The Remley Women’s Award celebrates a woman who champions and cares for the women of Westminster College, emulating the spirit of the award’s name sake, Dr. Audrey Remley. A committee consisting of a distinguished female alumna, the Director of Alumni Engagement and Event Management, and the Faculty Advisor of the Remley Women’s Center annually chooses the award recipient.
Currently serving Westminster College as a Board of Trustees’ member, Jane “Beth” Stubbs, ’00, is a partner in Kilgore’s Medical Pharmacy in central Missouri. After receiving her B.A. from Westminster, she earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Mississippi and a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She has served as student preceptor and adjunct professor of pharmaceutical compounding for the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is the new chair of the President’s Club at Westminster and past president of the Westminster Alumni Council. She also is a recipient of the Westminster Alumni Loyalty Award.
