Alumnus Donates Office Furnishings to College

Hazel 301 Reeves L:ibrary

Two locations on campus have taken on a new look, thanks to the generosity of alumnus Jack Baumstark ’67 (Sigma Alpha Epsilon) from St. Louis, MO. Jack had closed out a business and donated a large amount of office furnishings to the College.

Right before Alumni Weekend, Jack Benke, Interim Executive Director of Plant Operations and Auxiliary Services, and a Westminster crew went to St. Louis and brought back two moving trucks filled with office cubicle partitions, filing cabinets and desk chairs.

Some of the office cubicle partitions have been used to turn Room 301 (shown above) of the Hazel Annex of Reeves Library into a student study and tutoring area.

Several sections of partition have been used to create another office on the second floor of Washington West as well.

The College is very grateful to Jack for this generous donation and looks forward to putting this equipment to good use on campus.
