Scholarships to be Awarded for High School Students Who Attend Summer Academy

Rising high school juniors and seniors who participate in this summer’s Westminster Institute on National Security (WINS) will each automatically receive a $1000 Westminster College scholarship, renewable up to four years of study.

To be held July 19-22, 2015 on the campus of Westminster College in Fulton, MO, WINS is an intensive, two-day, three-night experience for high school students. Through WINS, students will learn about the fight against terrorism, establishing post-war peace, intelligence analysis, cyber-security, and more.

WINS will be led by Dr. Tobias Gibson, Associate Professor of Political Science and Security Studies Program Director. Gibson, a national expert on security studies, is a non-resident fellow at the National Security Network.

The $1000 WINS scholarships* will be awarded to WINS participants on the final day of the institute.
