A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
Mr. Rodgers would have been proud of the beautiful day around the Westminster campus this past Saturday (Oct 26). It was warm and sunny so I decided to take a walking tour around the campus. My (office) neighbor’s foreign car from the 1950s intrigued me most – and the student, Shane Kincaid, has done all the refinishing work himself. I also found new windows on the Phi Delt house and workmen laying down a new floor in the “almost” new SAE house. The windy day had flags flying everywhere, as shown at the various fraternity houses and on Priest Field. I stumbled onto to the women’s soccer game where they had honored 4 of their graduating seniors. Once again, I missed the men’s game. They are now 7-0 in conference. Maybe I should stay away but they have several of our international students playing on the team. As our campus leader often says, “it was a great day to be a Blue Jay!” And a Cardinal fan last night!

Pat, You continue to show the best of the college. I miss my visits but you continue to remind me why I love and respect Westminster.
