14 Days of Giving Donations Increase Tenfold in 2017
Westminster’s second annual 14 Days of Giving fundraising drive raised ten times more in financial gifts in its second year. In 2016, alumni and friends gave a total of $88,000 to the Westminster Fund. This year’s drive, which took place April 24 through May 7, raised a total of $902,110.
“YOU made this happen — and we are enormously grateful,” says Kelly Dopman, Vice President for Institutional Advancement, in a message to alumni last week. “From the bottom of our hearts, Westminster’s faculty, staff, and students thank you for your support.”
The drive saw enthusiastic participation from students, alumni, faculty, and staff through video messages, personal stories, and even song. Two generous alumni offered matching gift challenges to encourage donations.
The Westminster Fund supports student scholarships, academic programs, campus activities, and more, advancing Westminster’s mission and legacy of raising up leaders to lives of success, significance, and service.
The phenomenal success of 14 Days of Giving adds momentum to the College’s goal of raising $7 million by the end of the fiscal year on June 30, 2017. Help Westminster reach that goal by making a gift today.
